This course is the first step in your career as a dive industry professional. Divemasters can lead trips, assist divers, assist during training and conduct certain PADI programs. Our training timeline is flexible. That means that pacing and focus are individually tailored to the instructional needs of each DM candidate. Some people need more focus on theory, while others need more time on waterskills to meet the challenges of the job.
Training objectives: proficiency in dive skills, professional level theoretical and practical knowledge, high level of comfort in the water, organizational skills to set up dive boats, attention to and control of UW activities, global skills to be a valuable certified assistant.
The DM certification is not just a badge. With more practice, you will develop situational awareness, an instinctive understanding of how to manage less experienced divers and everyday practical problems. Aldora’s instructional team recommends you plan a longer internship, devoting more time to practical, professional experience. This is real
career training for real-world work within the often demanding dive industry.
